anyLogistix 2025: conference recap

You know what they say: one is a pilot, two is a promise, and three is a movement. With its third edition this year, the anyLogistix conference, held on June 5, has truly become a tradition in the world of supply chain modeling.

The anyLogistix Conference brings together professionals, researchers, and business leaders from all over the world. They all share one goal: to develop smarter, stronger, and more efficient supply chains. As always, this year's event delivered valuable insights and real business cases. If you missed it, don't worry! In this blog post, we'll give you the key highlights.

ANYLOGISTIX: RELEASES INSIGHTS & WHAT'S COMING NEXT

One of the day’s most anticipated sessions was the anyLogistix product update. This presentation gave a clear and engaging look at how the platform is evolving and what's coming next.

What's new?

The latest updates from the past year solve real-world problems supply chain managers face daily. Need to ship partial orders without full inventory? The new partial shipments feature handles this automatically, with tracking for every split order.

Struggling to get started with anyLogistix? The new example library lets you jump right in with ready-made scenarios for common challenges like cold chain logistics or budget planning.

Behind the scenes, upgraded KPI dashboards and analytical tools transform complex data into clear, actionable visuals. This makes it easier than ever to spot trends and compare strategies.

What's coming next?

The second half of the session looked into the future of anyLogistix and introduced the following exciting updates:

  • Last-mile optimization will account for real-world factors like delivery windows and truck capacity.
  • Cost to serve will reveal the true profitability of every customer and product by tracking expenses across your entire supply chain.
  • Enhanced production modeling will introduce realistic factory behaviors, including multi-line production and changeover times.
  • Network optimization will be able to test thousands of parameter combinations to help identify your most efficient configurations.

BUSINESS CASE PRESENTATIONS

After the product update, the spotlight turned to real-world stories. Each speaker brought a fresh perspective on how anyLogistix can solve complex supply chain problems across different industries and regions. Together, these talks showed how flexible and powerful the software can be.

Addressing Last-Mile Delivery with anyLogistix

IIM Jammu started with a presentation on one of the most talked-about logistics challenges today: last-mile delivery. Using anyLogistix, Dr. Pratik Maheshwari built detailed models to simulate urban delivery networks, where traffic, demand fluctuations, and service time windows make planning difficult.

Smart Sourcing in Motion: XDOC in Action for Auto Parts Logistics

Next, MEVB shared their work with an automotive client, focusing on XDOC policy for spare parts distribution across Europe. The team used anyLogistix to model a multi-tiered network and evaluate policies that balance delivery time and inventory costs.

With anyLogistix, they tested various configurations and found smarter ways to manage regional distribution. They proved that even fine-tuned systems can benefit from simulation.

Network Optimization with ALX via Database Integration

One of the most compelling cases came from Coca-Cola İçecek, in partnership with Phoenix Analytics. They used anyLogistix to create a fully integrated digital twin of their supply chain. This enabled real-time scenario testing where planners could quickly react to changes in demand, supply disruptions, or facility issues.

Fast-Track Supply Chain Optimization with anyLogistix

Decision Lab UK shifted the focus to sustainability with a fascinating case on wastewater logistics. Their goal was to reconfigure the purified water supply network to reduce both costs and carbon emissions.

Using anyLogistix simulation, they identified better transportation strategies and facility layouts. It was a great example of how anyLogistix supports not just businesses, but also public sector and environmental projects.

Solving the Cutting Stock Problem at Scale

SimWell wrapped up the business case segment with two distinct yet powerful applications of anyLogistix. Both presentations demonstrated how adaptable the software can be.

The first case was a follow-up to their 2024 freight planning and transportation optimization presentation. This time, they shifted focus to the cutting stock problem, aiming to reduce material waste during production.

Using anyLogistix, they expanded their earlier model to include the full supply and production process. This helped their client see how small changes in supply chain design could lead to significant material savings.

Agile Scenarios, Smarter Planning with anyLogistix

At the anyLogistix Conference 2024, SimWell also emphasized how crucial good data is for building solid supply chain models. This year, they picked up right where they left off—demonstrating how to turn that data into fast, smart decisions.

Their team introduced a modular scenario manager built inside anyLogistix, designed for rapid, tactical planning. Instead of rebuilding models from zero, users can now test and switch between scenarios on the fly.

Together these two presentations show a clear journey from clean data to confident decision-making.
